like what the title says..im not much of a blogger..but today..i've got something to say...and it's not something wise or anything...i'm just really happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, i found out yesterday that I got casted for a play that I auditioned for two Sundays ago...it's with a local theatre group and the play is entitled Bugsy Malone.  It was originally written for kids as a spoof of the gangster life.  I didn't get any lead part but I wasn't expecting too since this was my first-ever audition!

The play will go on from October 29 - November 1 with a potential Saturday matinee performance.  I can't wait for the start of rehearsals (August 6) and I hope I play a showgirl. lol..that will be a trip!

after this, maybe i'll try for a bigger theatre group..maybe the one in wimbledon!  oohhh, gives me the shivers..coz this one has got its own theatre whereas the one in Balham (where I live) uses a makeshift theatre from the school grounds.  But this group has been around for years so that's something too, in its own right.

well, here's to the courage to finally try out for something I have dreamed of for a long time...and to getting it on the first try. :D  I hope this paves the way for my budding musical career. lolz.
